Courses vary from one hour to six weeks depending on content and several of our courses are being CPD-accredited. Courses vary between being conducted in group / class sessions and online courses you can work through at your own pace.

Mental Health First Aid England

Our 2-day mental health first aid course is accredited by MHFA England, and is delivered by our MHFA-registered trainer. Successfully completing this course results in you being a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Mental Health First Aid Refresher

Our refresher course is perfect for those who have already completed their MHFA training and are looking to update their knowledge and keep in line with ever-changing scope, skills and techniques used.

Basics of Mental Health Awareness

This is a 4-hour training course that provides an overview of the mental health process that your
trained Mental Health First Aiders will follow, giving you the ability to support them in the workplace.
It also lays the foundations for you to implement your organisation’s mental wellbeing plan.

Youth Mental Health First Aid England

Our 2-day youth mental health first aid course is accredited by MHFA England, and is delivered by our MHFA-registered trainer. Successfully completing this course results in you being a qualified Youth Mental Health First Aider.

Youth Mental Health Awareness

Our Youth Mental Health Awareness course is a half day, interactive learning session covering various
aspects of children and young people’s mental health – from how to identify potential issues, to how
you can help and support a young person who may be struggling.

Mental Health Training for Managers

This 4-hour course is aimed at line managers, HR managers and senior management. Combining elements of the Basics of Mental Health Support course, this course will give you an overview of the mental health process that your trained Mental Health First Aiders will follow, as well as regulatory aspects required of the business / organisation.

Mindfulness

An interactive 6-week course which takes place in 6x 1-hour sessions. Run by an experienced mindfulness facilitator and coach, in sensitive, lively and enlightening ways which involve humour, stories and examples, as well as practical ‘homework’ to learn the techniques.

Emotional Resilience for Young People

Our Emotional Resilience courses are aimed at providing you with understanding and knowledge on how to build mentally healthy children, from the things you do to the things you say, this course details how all of these things can impact children, and ensures that we make that a positive impact.

Resilience

Resilience follows on from the Mindfulness course and we highly recommend that you first learn how to practice Mindfulness before taking this course. Aimed at people from all walks of life who might be struggling especially in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mental Health Aware – CPD Certified

Learn what is meant by mental health, reasons that prevent people from seeking help and speaking out when they need to and how cultural diversity within society and mental health issues can be misunderstood. CPD certified.

This course is designed to help teachers understand what trauma is, how it affects people and how you can help someone dealing with trauma. It provides strategies for helping students who are going through trauma, as well as how you can help yourself whilst helping someone else.
