BreatheUni Online – April 1st, 7-8pm
BreatheUni Online – April 1st, 7-8pm
BreatheUni is a mental health safe space online for students to come and have a chat with other students and mental health professionals. Run by students for students, it’s the perfect starting point for anyone looking for support, learning about mental health, or simply seeing that they don’t need to suffer in silence. BreatheUni provides a non-judgemental environment in which to share and learn about anything mental health & wellbeing related. After a brief introduction by a member of the Shawmind team, visitors are encouraged to talk through their feelings, thoughts and worries with experienced, trained Shawmind volunteers, who will be able to signpost to additional services in their communities and offer to be a listening ear for further offline interactions if needed. BOOK ONLINE to register and get the Zoom link to join this Café. By attending this event, you agree to abide by these rules.

Mindful Meander – 27th April, 12-1pm
Mindful Meander – 27th April, 12-1pm
Our Mindful Meander walk is back! Join us on the 27th April, 12pm at Riverside Park in Newark, where we will meet in small, socially distanced groups for a walk through and around Newark town. It's a great opportunity to get out and about again for some gentle exercise, meet new people and have open conversations about mental health, without judgement. Our trained volunteers will also be on hand to have a chat, offer support and guidance, and signpost to services if necessary. Disclaimer: Care has been taken to ensure that we follow current government guidelines at all times, but ultimately you are joining this support group at your own risk. If you, or anyone in your household or support bubble, is displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the walk. Masks are advised, but as it is an outdoor activity, they are not compulsory.
