Feeding your body means feeding your mind

Lu-Ma and Shawmind invite you to come and learn about the Breathe Cafe and the wellbeing hub we’re co-ordinating in the local community. Breathe Cafes are places for real conversations about mental health and wellbeing, safe spaces to learn and to share, to access resources and information.

The first in a series of events, join us after work on 19th October, from 6pm-7:30pm for a talk by specialist chefs Kenneth Prange & Angela Agrati Prange who will share their knowledge about food nutrients and plant-based foods, and how the food we eat impacts not only our physical health but our mental and emotional wellbeing too. A welcome drink will be provided, courtesy of Slange Var, and a light meal will be served, after which there will be time to mix and mingle. The event is free to attend, but we ask that you kindly consider making a donation to the charity tin support of the Breathe Cafe (we suggest something in the range of £5) You can donate by sending a text message “SHAWMIND5” to 70085, or by any one of these methods: https://shawmind.org/donate/

Please RSVP by booking your place – we would very much like to see you there!
